Recruiting Manager

Advantage Media Group has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter with experience managing a full cycle hiring pipeline from initial application through onboarding. The Recruiter is THE responsible party for building a pipeline of qualified A-Players by sourcing top quality candidates. Advantage works with top tier business professionals to position, promote, and market them as the thought leader and expert in their industry, community, or marketplace.

The mission of the Recruiter is to source and evaluate the right A Player talent needed to grow our company to serve 1,000 members per year by December 31, 2016. The recruiter will build relationships with local and regional sources for qualified candidates and increase the number of qualified applications. The recruiter will screen resumes and interview candidates weekly. This individual will create position announcements and work with internal managers to coordinate the flow of candidates from interview through their first 90 days on training.

The ideal Recruiter is proficient in the Topgrading methodology with a proven track record of sourcing A-Player talent. He/she is driven to hit defined performance targets such as days to hire and percentage of qualified applicants. The ideal candidate can coordinate dozens of candidates simultaneously and work across departments to source candidates in every function of the organization.


Outcomes (expected within the first 12 months):

  • Generate >15 4-5 star applicants per open position. Promote the Advantage brand to increase the volume of applicants per open position while maintaining or improving the percentage of those in the top tier. Identify key recruiting partners such as schools and associations as well as engaging qualified individuals to consider Advantage.
  • Conduct or coordinate >15 interviews for each open position. Identify a minimum of 3 candidates for in-person interviews with the hiring manager. Complete and document all steps of our recruiting process for sign off approval on checklist to hire.
  • Reduce the average days to hire to < 45 days. Move high performing candidates through each of the recruiting phases quickly. Track and report numbers for each phase of our recruiting cycle.
  • Improve our Onboarding NPS to >8.0. Deliver a consistent onboarding experience for all new Team Members. Schedule all training sessions with internal presenters in advance of Team Member start date.
  • Support Team Member Success activities including coordinating and planning monthly culture events, internal communication, and professional development and training.

  • Ability to hire “A-Players” - Sources, selects, and sells “A-Players” to join the company
  • Attention to detail - Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
  • Communication - Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including email.
  • High standards - Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best.
  • Organization and planning - Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of recruiting experience a MUST
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills
  • Data driven performance with an outcome based approach
  • 4 year college degree in Human Resources, Business, Communtion or similar field

Position is in Charleston, SC and reports to the Vice President of Operations. Team members are eligible for benefits package after a 3 month review.
